Samsung Acclaim R880 Review

Samsung Acclaim R880 is a mid-range Android phone that will feature Android 2.1, a 3.2 inch HVGA display, and full QWERTY keyboard, 3.0MP Auto focus Camera with flash, TFT w/Touch C-Type, Android OS Eclair, GMS (Google Mobile Service – Gmail, YouTube, GoogleMap, AndroidMarket, Google Talk, Google Search, Google Calendar), Webkit based Browser provided by Google, Micro SD slot, Speaker Phone, 5 USCC preload applications, WiFi, BT2.1 EDR.

No pictures were provided, but the Acclaim is said to be a similar device to that of Sprint’s Samsung Moment. This will give US Cellular customers who want a mid-range phone with QWERTY keyboard the option for the Acclaim. For those who want a high-end Snapdragon phone, they can pick up the Desire. Both the Desire and the Acclaim are available on USCC’s rebate form for $70.
