AT&T prepping Nokia E71 for launch?

With the Nokia E71 pics plastered across the blogosphere as the newest QWERTY-toting E-series device from Espoo, the smartphone is set to bring some style and class to business-users the world over. Now we’re hearing that AT&T is actually working with Nokia on an AT&T-branded Nokia E71.
It’s all speculation for now, but Boy Genius is reporting on rumors that AT&T will be launching the Nokia E71 in your choice of Black or White.
It would be great to see AT&T picking up this E-series contender. But, it would be a shame if AT&T decided to cripple the device with an EDGE-only data connection.
Nokia has been working more closely with carriers, so it’s not too far-fetched to think that the Nokia E71 will be hitting AT&T with a hobbled data connection. Let’s just hope it doesn’t go down like that….

My guess is that AT&T will destroy the FW on this phone, as well as take the wifi and/or GPS out -
