While the previous version of the Star series were extremely popular, they did not have Wi-Fi built in. Now, with the announcement of the S5233w, Samsung seems to have "resolved" one of the long-standing demands of users. The addition of Wi-Fi might just boost the sales of the already popular handset. We wonder if the non-inclusion of Wi-Fi with the earlier edition of these phones was deliberate. The reason being that the "just launched" S5233w is exactly the same phone - with just the Wi-Fi chip added. Looks like Samsung is going the Nokia way and adding one feature as an "update" to an older device and giving it a new name!
Here are the specs of the S5233w. Nothing much to read here if you are familiar with the specs of the Samsung Star.
