Samsung India has showcased its wide range of new, stylish and elegant mobile phones at Mobile Asia 2008, India. Along with the company’s flagship ‘Soul’, ‘Serenata’ and ‘Armani’ models, Samsung presented the SGH –i450, SGH-G800, i550, D 880, i780, F250, F490, P960 and J210 phones. With this, Samsung plans to target consumers who prefer phones from Multimedia (Imaging & Music), Business Lifestyle and Popular segments.
According to Sunil Dutt, Country Head, Samsung Telecommunications India Ltd., “We are using the Mobile Asia platform to launch a series of new sleek and stylish Samsung mobile phones that exemplify cutting-edge technology and design innovation .The unique and clearly differentiated features of these phones makes the Samsung 2008 mobile range the complete answer to consumer needs across different segments of the market.”
Priced at Rs. 15,000, the Samsung SGH –i450 music phone offers a Mobile Theatre experience with its CE Power amplifiers by Bang & Olufsen, delivering 3D surround sound. The music wheel and the Dual-Slider form factor features 2.4-inch LCD screen, a robust internal memory of 40GB and the ability to store, access and juggle music.
