We felt that the original RAZR2 V9 was a handset with some good points and some bad points, but overall we were a little unimpressed with it.
But, if the pictures are to be believed, the new Motorola RAZR2 V9x adds something interesting - it appears to come with GPS, allowing the V9x to be used for satellite navigation.
One interesting feature with the original V9 was the very large external display, and this is used to good effect on the V9x. The navigation system appears to work on either screen, making the V9x an impressively compact GPS device.
The version pictured is for the US AT&T network, but we think it is quite likely that other versions of the V9x will appear worldwide.
And just in case you can't remember all the features of the original V9 that should be carried forward onto the V9x, this is an HSDPA (3.5G) phone with dual QVGA displays with haptic feedback, a 2 megapixel camera, microSD expandable memory and Bluetooth.
